Hello, I am currently renting a condo at Stony Brook for $1,650 monthly. I used to own a townhouse in Meadow Winds (11 years on 150 Delafield Lane) when they were first built. Due to the “Great Recession” I had to sell it and have been renting ever since. I am a single mother with a 16 year old daughter, and would like to return to Meadow Winds buy purchasing one of the new townhomes on Orleans Road. Is there anyway possible to obtain a first-time homebuyer “no money down” type mortgage (re-qualify since 3 years have passed since owning a home)that may even cover some of the closing costs?
